Our Commitment to You and Our Planet

Responsibly Sourced Materials, Ethically Made, and Thoughtfully Sustainable

Integrity in Every Thread

At the heart of everything we do is a promise—to you and our planet. Thoughtful, sustainable choices don’t mean compromising on quality. Every piece we make comes from careful decisions; from the materials we source to the partners and their people who bring our products to life.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards so your bd apparel lasts—in style, integrity, and durability. Sustainability isn’t a trend; it’s a commitment. By using responsibly sourced materials, ethical practices, and designs built to endure, we reduce our impact while making you feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful.

Thoughtful choices. High standards. Open processes. That’s how we honor our planet and you by “Supporting Your Best Life”, today and tomorrow.

Quality Meets Responsibility

At the heart of our sustainability efforts is a commitment to responsible sourcing and ethical production. Every supplier and factory we partner with is carefully vetted to meet rigorous standards, with many holding Oeko-Tex, ISO, SMETA, and BSCI certifications. Over 90% of the materials we use are custom-designed to our exact specifications, ensuring exceptional durability, quality, and performance. For us, sustainability never comes at the expense of quality—every piece is thoughtfully crafted to last, responsibly and beautifully.

From Hands to Heart

Sustainability isn’t just about what we use—it’s about how we make it. Every factory and partner we work with is carefully vetted to ensure safe, fair, and responsible practices. We prioritize facilities that uphold internationally recognized standards, including SMETA and BSCI certifications, ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect for workers’ rights.

From start to finish, every step of our manufacturing meets the highest standards, producing bd apparel that is ethical, durable, and crafted with integrity.

Safe By Design

We work exclusively with suppliers and manufacturing partners who prioritize the well-being of both people and the planet. Our materials and products are produced without the use of harsh chemicals, and we collaborate only with facilities that maintain internationally recognized certifications such as Oeko-Tex and ISO. These standards ensure rigorous safety and environmental practices at every stage of production.

Our commitment guarantees that the fabrics and finished goods we deliver are not only high-quality and durable, but also safe for consumers and environmentally responsible. Every decision we make reflects our dedication to creating apparel that supports a healthier, more sustainable future—for you and for the planet.

Healthier for You, Kinder to the Earth

You shouldn't have to choose between performance and safety. Many standard synthetic fabrics rely on industrial treatments that leave behind traces of PFAS, BPAs, and BPS—compounds that harm both the environment and your body. We have banned these toxins from our supply chain. Here is a closer look at these chemicals and the steps we take to ensure they never touch your skin.

PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a group of man-made chemicals often called “forever chemicals” because they do not break down in the environment or the human body. They are traditionally used in clothing to create water-resistant or stain-resistant coatings. Exposure to PFAS has been linked to various adverse health effects. We do not use PFAS in any of our production processes. Our fabrics are tested to ensure they are free from fluorine-based water repellents.

Think of these as “industrial preservatives”—they help plastics and fabrics last longer, but they aren’t meant for human skin. They are known as “endocrine disruptors,” which means they can trick your body into thinking they are hormones, throwing your system off balance. We require our suppliers to perform OEKO-TEX Standard 100 testing to ensure these chemicals are never present in the materials we use.

We believe in fabric engineering, not chemical engineering. Instead of coating our products with chemical treatments to manage sweat (and boob sweat), we use fabrics that naturally promote evaporation through their physical structure. We utilize Tricot and Power Netting—materials chosen specifically for their open-knit construction.

  • Tricot is a unique warp-knit fabric that is durable yet breathable, allowing moisture to move through the fabric away from your skin.
  • Power Netting features a mesh-like structure that allows for maximum airflow, letting heat escape and moisture evaporate with ease.

By using these porous, breathable materials, we keep you cool and dry through natural airflow rather than reliance on “forever chemicals.”

We take a comprehensive approach to chemical safety. Beyond just BPAs and PFAS, standard textile production can involve formaldehyde, heavy metals (like lead and cadmium), and azo dyes that release carcinogenic amines. By partnering with suppliers who hold OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and REACH compliance certifications, we ensure that every component of our garments, from the fabric and threads to the dyes and trims, is tested for harmful substances and is safe for human health.

A Responsible Movement (People & Planet)

Dignity in Production: We partner exclusively with Vietnam factories that hold the gold standard for social accountability—ensuring fair living wages, voluntary labor, and zero tolerance for child labor. We uphold these same values at home, ensuring our US factory team enjoys competitive wages and a supportive work environment

Safe Working Conditions: Safety is a human right. Both our US and Vietnam facilities strictly enforce Occupational Health & Safety standards, ensuring a secure, hazard-free environment for every person who produces a bd product.

Verified Transparency: Trust requires proof. We don’t just take our suppliers’ word for it; our supply chain undergoes regular internal and third-party audits to strictly enforce ethical treatment at every level of production.

Compostable Mailers: We’ve swapped plastic for plants. Our mailers are crafted from renewable and recyclable materials that hold both BPI and TUV Home Compostable certifications, ensuring they break down completely in a compost bin.

Recycled Paper: We prioritize forests over fresh paper. Our hangtags, tissue paper, and marketing inserts are made exclusively from recycled materials. We ensure that our paper products support responsible forestry and biodiversity rather than contributing to global deforestation.

Reusable Shippers: We view packaging as a cycle, not a destination. We utilize reusable mailers that keep materials in circulation and out of the landfill. These durable shippers are designed to withstand multiple journeys—making them ideal for product returns—allowing us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint.

Zero Waste Manufacturing: We work closely with our factories to achieve a “Low” or “Zero” Waste to Landfill goal. Both our partners in Vietnam and our own US-based facility utilize environmental management systems to ensure that manufacturing byproducts—such as fabric scraps and off-cuts—are recycled or repurposed rather than being dumped.

Care & Longevity: We focus on longevity rather than replacement, because the most sustainable product is one that lasts. We champion a “Care & Repair” philosophy—educating customers on low-impact wash methods and offering a 60-day limited warranty to first repair, then replace—to effectively extend the lifespan of every garment.

Closed-Loop Recycling: Our responsibility doesn’t end at checkout. We encourage garment recycling and donation programs to ensure that well-loved items find a second life or are processed into new raw materials, effectively closing the loop on waste, reducing textiles from entering landfills.

People. Product. Planet

We don’t just support your body… we support the world it lives in.
